Please read this page carefully before submitting a request. Arrest records are not removed solely because a case was dismissed, dropped, declined, or resolved without conviction. ArrestFlorida reviews removal requests based on Florida law, court orders, verified factual errors, and legally sufficient documentation.
What ArrestFlorida Publishes
ArrestFlorida publishes informational public record data sourced from official Florida county booking records, sheriff’s offices, jail systems, clerk records, or other government sources at the time of publication.
Does an Arrest Record Mean I Was Convicted?
No. Publication of an arrest or booking record does not imply guilt, conviction, or current legal status. Every person is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
When Will ArrestFlorida Remove a Record?
- When a valid court order of expunction applies to the published record.
- When a valid court order of sealing or other judicial directive requires suppression or removal.
- When the record is verified as factually incorrect or mistaken identity.
- When publication involves a minor or juvenile record that should not be published.
When Will ArrestFlorida Remove a Booking Photograph?
Florida law may provide a separate process for requesting removal of an arrest booking photograph. Requests must include sufficient proof of identity and specific information identifying the photograph. ArrestFlorida does not charge a fee for legally required booking photograph removal.
What Does Not Qualify for Record Removal?
- Dismissed, dropped, declined, or reduced charges without a qualifying court order or other legally sufficient basis.
- Reputational harm, employment concerns, housing concerns, embarrassment, privacy preference, or passage of time.
- Requests unsupported by sufficient identifying information or documentation.
ArrestFlorida does not remove arrest records absent a qualifying court order or other legally sufficient basis, regardless of case outcome.
What Documents Are Accepted?
- Court-signed order of expunction.
- Court-signed order of sealing.
- Judicial directive requiring removal or suppression.
- Official agency correction notice.
- Verified proof of factual error, mistaken identity, or legally protected publication status.
How Do I Submit a Request?
Use the Record Review / Removal Request Form and include the direct record URL, full identifying information, and supporting documentation.
Can I Submit Additional Supporting Documentation?
Yes. If you have additional official documentation that helps clarify the request, include it in the Record Review / Removal Request Form. Additional context does not by itself require removal unless a legally sufficient basis is established.
How Long Does Review Take?
Review times vary based on documentation quality, volume, identity verification, and whether a request involves a separate Florida booking-photograph review process.

Vexatious, Bad-Faith, or Harassing Requests
