How We Use Information
- To present public record information in a searchable format.
- To improve website functionality, performance, and security.
- To review submissions concerning corrections and legally required removals.
Public Record Handling
ArrestFlorida publishes informational public record data sourced from official Florida county booking records, sheriff’s offices, jail systems, clerk records, or other government sources at the time of publication. Records reflect historical booking events, not convictions, and publication does not imply guilt, conviction, current custody, or current case status.
Mugshot / Booking Photograph Handling
ArrestFlorida does not charge any fee to remove arrest booking photographs where removal is required under Florida law. Requests concerning arrest booking photographs must include sufficient proof of identity and specific information identifying the photograph at issue. ArrestFlorida reviews such requests under Florida Statutes § 901.43 and other applicable law.
Record Review, Correction, and Legal Removal
ArrestFlorida removes or suppresses records when legally required, including when a valid court order of expunction, sealing, or other judicial directive applies to the published record and has been submitted for verification.
Dismissals, dropped charges, no information, acquittals, withheld adjudication, and other case outcomes do not automatically require removal of the historical booking record unless legally sufficient documentation requires it.
Data Sharing
ArrestFlorida does not sell, rent, or broker personal data for eligibility, employment, housing, credit, insurance, or background screening purposes.
Data Security
ArrestFlorida may use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect its systems and submissions, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
External Links
ArrestFlorida may link to outside agencies, courts, or resources. ArrestFlorida does not control those sites or their privacy practices.
Children’s Privacy / Juvenile Records
ArrestFlorida does not intend to publish records that are legally confidential or otherwise protected because they concern juveniles or minors. Reports involving minors should be escalated for legal review.
User Rights and Requests
Requests concerning correction, suppression, or legally required removal should be submitted through the Record Review / Removal Request Form.
Automated Systems and AI Disclosure
ArrestFlorida may use automated systems to collect, format, categorize, and organize publicly available records. ArrestFlorida does not use automated systems to determine guilt, predict behavior, risk-score individuals, or make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
No Profiling or Predictive Analysis
ArrestFlorida does not use public record information to profile individuals for eligibility or predictive decision-making purposes.
